- Preparing monthly Inventory provision file, determining inventory at risk and following up action plan with operations as and when required.
- Preparing monthly MIS reports and reporting to management.
- Reviewing purchase and production variances on periodic basis and taking necessary actions.
- Ensuring completion of production order at month end by co-ordinating with plants and completing process orders for all factories at the month end.
- Quarterly review of standard costs and doing mass cost rollup for active items and distribution of new std cost files to EVPs.
- Ensuring cost roll up activity is conducted as and when required
- Creation and extension of Item codes in Material Data Governance (MDG) portal, its costing and maintenance of Inventory master data and managing it centrally for Sika Canada.
- Develop yearly factory rates based on capacity planning and implement in SAP.
- Ensure cost is set up properly whenever new code is created or extended.
- Review and monitor data governance website to correct cross-functional master data
- Attend Local Expert Team (LET) meetings, participating in product code creation process as and when required
- Monitoring product creation cycle within requested timelines.
- Analyze and resolve cross-functional costing data issues.
- Visting factories as and when required.
- Handling audit queries for costing and Inventory items.
- Provide necessary costing information to the Operation/Sales team as required.
- Work with Factory Controller to resolve any costing related issues.
- Assist Factory Controller and LET with cost estimation for new project launches or R&D activities.
- Participate in Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis annually to determine codes to be discontinued when required.
- Provide support in new SAP projects.
- Additional duties as and when assigned.
