POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is assigned to sell “General products” of construction chemicals to the projects from underground to roof section. The incumbent shall find opportunities to improve the sales value by finding new prospects and industrial maintenance long-lasting business relations to clients through exceptional support and service. He/she represents the company and its product to the market in a professional manner with high integrity and ethical standards.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects or new clients who might benefit Sika’s products; evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options and client potential.
- Ensures sales target are met; sets and implements sales plans and strategies; monitor regularly sales output and provide report and feedback to Sales Manager.
- Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending Sika’s products and solutions.
- Make technical presentations, brochures and other necessary materials related to Sika products, solutions and services; demonstrate how Sika products meet the client needs; presenting them equipped with products’ technical knowledge and in a professional manner.
- Creating, negotiating and closing contract and agreements with customers following the standard pricing calculations and terms and conditions.
- Ensure that calculated/quoted prices to customers follow standard calculations on pricing, trade discounts, etc.,
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education; after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required
- Develops and maintains long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements; providing support, information, and guidance.
- Foster good customer relations at every opportunity through professionalism, efficiency and effective service and report customer complaints, issues and comments in a timely manner.
- Keep customers records and update them regularly.
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities, and provide relevant reports and information to Sales Manager.
- Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
- Comply with all relevant Sika Policies, Procedures, Work Methods and Directives.
- To always observe the SH&E / Occupational, Health and Safety requirements in the field demanded by Sika and our Customers. Ensures that you are always properly equipped to carry out any appropriate functions in full compliance with these procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding Sika’s products and any customers information that be made available to you in the course of your employment.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science preferably Civil, Chemical, Materials Engineering any other related fields.
Experience
3-5 years’ working experience in Sales of construction chemicals, materials or equipment
Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales target and driving sales growth
Have the ability to communicate, present, negotiate, and closing business deals with customers
Must be proactive, high attention to details, and have flexible approach to managing task
Able to communicate in both Thai and English languages
