Responsibilities & Opportunities

Night Shift - 4:48PM-5AM (3 workdays week 1, and 4 workdays week 2)

Starting pay - $21.50

  • Maintain and monitor the hopper area, ensuring that extruders are loading the correct materials as specified in work orders.
  • Reclaim and grind materials from production start-ups and off-spec production for reuse.
  • Collaborate with operators to determine appropriate regrind percentages and availability.
  • Successfully complete OSHA-approved forklift certification and adhere to all safety guidelines for forklift operation.
  • Use software tools such as MII, SAP, and Access to accurately document and track material usage and production activities.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of grinders, ensuring materials to be ground are correctly identified.
  • Accurately label and store ground materials for future use in designated storage areas.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment by regularly cleaning equipment, extruders, storage areas, and warehouse aisles.

Preferred Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, or relevant work experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret fractions; proficient in using a tape measure.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, with the ability to learn other software as needed.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, squatting, lifting, walking, and bending.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience operating a forklift is beneficial, but training may be provided.
